Training Division, Department of Personnel and Training organized two weeks’ Capacity Building Programmes separately for the officers belonging to (1) State Civil Services and (2) State Secretariat Services of North- Eastern Region States at various training Institutes of the country. The basic objectives of these Capacity Building Programmes have been personality development, sensitisation to important national issues including focus on development issues. These programmes also include inputs on Good Governance, Public Service Delivery, Project Appraisal and Management, Public Private Partnership, etc. It is understood that a well trained bureaucracy at the cutting edge level will accelerate the pace of socio-economic development of the Region and in that process it would be able to enjoy the growth parity with the rest of the country. |
